David Cooper

David Cooper joined UACJ Automotive Whitehall Industries in 2004.  During that time he has held positions as President and COO before being promoted to CEO in 2021.

Prior to joining Whitehall, David held positions with Parker Hannifin, Johnson Controls and Abbott Laboratories. He holds a B.S.M.E. from Purdue University.

Al Bernat

Al Bernat

Al started his career as a Product Engineer before transitioning into commercial roles. The majority of his career was spent at Aisin World Corp of America, where he held several different titles of increasing responsibility, including Director of Sales for Body, Chassis, and Engine Components.

Most recently, he was the Vice President of Sales and Program Management for Nidec Automotive Motors America before joining UACJ Whitehall in June of 2018 as Vice President of Sales.

Al graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Engineering Sciences from Michigan State University

Jeremy Johnson

Jeremy rejoined UACJ Automotive Whitehall Industries in 2021, taking over the role of Chief Financial Officer.  He has 23 years of experience in the automotive industry in progressive financial leadership roles.  Jeremy served as Vice President of Finance and IT Solutions at HDA Truck Pride and prior to that, Director of Finance at Cadillac Products Automotive Company.

He graduated from Walsh College with a Master of Science in Professional Accountancy degree and also from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.

Mike Eby

Mike Eby joined UACJ in 2007 and is currently the Vice President of Operations in charge of Fabrication. Previous to his current role, he held positions as Manufacturing Engineer, Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering.  Prior to working for Whitehall, Mike worked in various positions for Dura Automotive in East Jordan, Mancelona and Fremont.  Mike attended Lake Superior State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and an associate degree in Drafting and Design in 1996.

Mike Wegener

Mike has been with UACJ Automotive Whitehall Industries since 2002, serving various engineering and engineering management roles within the extrusion and manufacturing organization.  His team has been responsible for developing precision extrusion capabilities, automotive structural extrusions, managing plant expansions, and overseeing the installation of multiple extrusion press lines.  After 15 years of engineering management, Mike was promoted to VP of Extrusion operations in 2023.  Mike has a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering technology from Ferris State University.
